When I received my acceptance letter to perform at the Ohio Burlesque Festival 2012, I squealed and ended up waking everyone up in my house. I can say nothing but positive things about my first burlesque festival. Organized, friendly and welcoming, I knew I was in the right place when Bella Sin (Director of Ohio Burlesque Festival) greeted me with a big hug as I walked into the opening night party. Bella and her team are totally inclusive and never exclusive to their performers.
It was an honor to perform at the Beachland Ballroom with its incredible history. The Cleveland audience certainly rocked and was very enthusiastic to see the talent from around the world that was being showcased. The contacts that I made were priceless and many of the performers I am still lucky enough to be in contact with almost a year later today. I would strongly suggest that both new and established performers apply for this year’s two day festival. The application is easy to access and to submit. Also the fee is very affordable. I know I will be applying!- Pepper
