What got you started in burlesque?
I was competing for the Miss Nude Victoria (Australia) title and through developing my routine I discovered my love for the classic tease, the feathers and most importantly, the Swarovski crystals all over my costumes. I went to a number of excellent burlesque shows around my hometown Melbourne, tested myself in the Miss Burlesque Victoria competition - and the obsession really began.
How long have you been performing?
A little over two years in burlesque, about six years as a showgirl through Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
What does burlesque mean to you?
Freedom, hilarity and sexiness in a heady mix of unpredictable stage showmanship.
Why Ohio?
Why not? I originally left Australia in 2011 to snowboard in Canada - but in a very short time the travel bug bit me and this happens to coincide nicely with the booming burlesque scene across North America, so I take every opportunity to get my clothes off in front of a new audience in a different city.
Describe your self in one word?
Trouble.
