The 14th Annual International Burlesque Festival will be held at The Historical Beachland Ballroom & Tavern
August 13th, 14th, 15th & 16th of 2026. The Festival is produced & sponsored in part by
Twenty-two-year veteran, award-winning burlesque production company, Cleveland Burlesque, with
the leadership of their head producers and staff.

About our Application
The application for our festival will be available on December 1st to January 30th, 2026 and it is hosted by the festival.
The festival takes place in Cleveland, Ohio at The Beachland Ballroom and Tavern at

The International Ohio Burlesque Festival 2026
The International Ohio Burlesque Festival’s 14th celebration will take place August 13th, 14th, 15th & 16th of 2026 at The Beachland Ballroom & Tavern in Waterloo Arts Neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio.
The order of events for the festival weekend are:
Thursday Night Rock & Roll Opener, Friday Night All-Stars, Saturday Night Gala and The Glitter Guild Brunch on Sunday.
We will be welcoming applications from December 1st to February 9th of 2026.
Free Application Period for Everyone is Dec 1st - 10th
Free Application Period for BIPOC/POC is Dec 1st - 15th
Application Cost $15 Dec 10th - Jan 31st
**Late Application Period costs $20 Feb 1st to Feb 9th **

A few things you need to know about our application that will help you prep before you apply.
The 14th annual International Ohio Burlesque Festival News:
Our application period will be December 1st, 2025 to January 31st at midnight, Cleveland, Ohio Time.
- Uncompleted applications will not be reviewed.
- Each application hosts two videos and we limit acts to a time of 5 mins.
- You can submit up-to 1 applications per performer/group.
- Video is required for you act, You can send us any video at any quality including from your cellphone. We have to be able to see your costume, routine and choreography along with listening clearly to your song.
- We do not host fire acts at this time. We do host aerial acts with proper insurance.
- The Ohio Burlesque Festival mandates is to showcase a diverse and inclusive body positive cast of artists representing WOC, POC, BIPOC, QPOC, LGBTQIA, immigrants, and differently abled performers in a safe, inclusive space.
- The festival takes 2 business weeks (15 Business Days) to review applications, You will get a communication by email from us with either invitational and a non invitational. If you did not get an a communication please reach out to us via email [email protected] -
- We provide performers with a weekender ticket to enter all showcases for free.
- A limited number of images per performer are release the day after the show, The rest are release with in 90 days.
- Videos are free to our performers and they will be released with 60 days after the show.
- Our festival badge acts as a discount program with city wide partners with out tourist bureau.
- We provide a meal for performers day of their show, refreshments and snacks.
- Hotel accommodations will be provided with host hotel at a discounted rate to make it more affordable of a trip.
- This year 2025 we are giving you two free workshops on Event and Self promotion and Burlesque Business on Social Media. They are free for all festival participants.
